Shoe Pants or Pants Shoes?

After a survey of the house with education levels ranging from highschool dropout to masters, pants.

So what happens everytime you want to enter or leave the (no wearing shoes allowed inside of the) home?

This could pose a problem in Japan.

And they look pretty uncomfortable.

Whatever they are, don't break a string! I'd hate to have to relace them.

In the '60's there were some very awesome mod go-go boots/tights varieties - I love the update!

What do you do if you have a pebble in your shoe/pants??

Reminds me of those footie pajamas little kids wear (but far more complicated).

The store would need to stock a LOT of sizes to get all the permutations of waist, inseam, and shoe size covered! Wow... Definitely a custom made sort of thing and not practical for real-world marketing....

Shoes or pants?

There is an answer. It depends on where they placed the "Chuck Taylor All Star" badge.

The answer is in the name: "Converse Extension". It's shoes.

These are really cool looking, however, I'd be a tad peeved in the morning having to lace those bad boys up. Unless you oil yourself into already tightened "Shants" as Munky has named them.

I remember these from the early 1980s. The girlfriend of the guy who worked at the skateboard shop had these, she had a beehive hairdoo and popped gum all the time. I think she wished she was Debbie Harry. Seeing these again really takes me back to 1981-1982.

I vote for shoes. It's much more fun to go pantless than shoeless.

i'm going to try and recreate a pair of these for myself... i need some. as far as comfort goes, i don't think there's much trouble, they look to made out of the same stuff sweats are made of. lol, if you have to pee, pull them down like pants, it's not like they're overalls.

Hahah, how interesting! I'm not sure if anyone else has seen the movie, "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen," but I just saw it yesterday with my niece, and near the end there is a scene where the best friend of the main character is wearing those same shoes! I know that was a run-on sentence, but that was really quite interesting. I'm a scene kid more-so, and I would really like a pair of these. Haha.

I actually really like these a lot, I have a relatively average-ish small waist size and a very generic shoe size lol. if i found these in a shop i would absolutely buy them :D

also people are thinking to much, they aren't 'lace ups' thats the illusion, it looks like elastic string to me while the waist is drawstring like pajamas. so as long as you're not particularly fat or skinny, you just buy your shoe size and 1 size fit all.

btw the confessions of a teenage drama queen is where i saw them first as well, and they look much better as a converse twist, black fabric white 'lace' strings :)
