I’m also going to chime in to praise the ted videos. I’ve seen quite a few and here are some of my favorites…

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39rIebbXshA
“The story of a passionate life”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVimVzgtD6w
Debunks several myths about world development. Probably the best presentation I’ve ever seen

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b694exl_oZo
Theo Jansen’s kinetic sculptures (which have been featured on neatorama before)

    @ Ant

If you look just below the Youtube link you’ll see that I had already put the original TED Talks link to the video.

Doesn’t this website have something to do with the myth known as “Intelligent Design?”

You can see a reference to it at the beginning of the piece.

Same talk, right? Save TED the bandwidth and use Google’s YouTube unlimited supply instead!

Ah! I see what you mean! Yeah, just like what Alex said (with Google owning our souls in the near future) I think we could use their “unlimited” bandwidth, besides, I was feeling just a tad lazy coming back from Uni and work. ;p

Txs Reechard : the world development presentation was amazing. I’m getting better than a chimp now.
