Martian Botanical Preservation Steampunk Device

By Alex in Art, Home & Garden, Pictures on Jan 26, 2008 at 4:12 am

Found at the Art of AlexCF blog: a fantastic Martian Botanical Device steampunk, a state-of-the-art "botanical preservation device that contains the exact mixture of chemicals present in the martian atmosphere", so Victorian-era (space) explorers can keep alive specimens of carnivorous plants from the Red Planet.

The little dude’s called "Chompy," though I felt that Audrey II would be a good name too! Link – via Brass Goggles
