		<description>Do you know anything about a horseshoe shaped burglar alarm or animal trap gun invented about 1866??  It was patented.  Was made out of brass and fired two 32 cal, slugs from the two barrels. There was a lever that you ran a string or wire from to a door or window to be guarded.  It was loaded with cap, powder and ball, cocked and when the door or window was opeded the offender had two bullets fired at him. My great grandfather, Henry Yerty of Sidney, Ohio invented it and had it patented but only a few were ever made.
I have been searching the internet to see if there is a write up about it but no luck.
