Homey Airport

150_area51_signThe super-secret Area 51 has a new name: Homey Airport. I am not making this up.

Capt. Jessica Martin, a spokeswoman for Nellis Air Force Base, which sits 85 miles south of Homey Airport and is responsible for the airspace and any ground facilities, said that “we already know about the designation, but it doesn’t have any effect on operations at the base.”

Martin said she didn’t know the origin of the name “Homey Airport.”

No word yet on what the aliens think of the name change. Link -via Boing Boing

    i like the "No trespassing beyond this point". oh sure, you can trespass over there, but once you get beyond here, no more trespassing!

    yeah, i'm by no means a christian but that is just wildly out of context and unnecessary. it seriously reeks of the desperation of someone who's just trying to start a fight for no reason other than spite, which sure as hell doesn't get anyone anywhere in the debacle that is religious debate.
