The cyanide in them isn't enough to kill a human(you'd have to eat a LOT of them), but parrots are much smaller, and thus only need to eat about 5-7, I think. You forgot apple seeds. Most believe it's the nut, close to laetril (sic) in peaches. The main problem is the cooking method...if you burn your teflon pot or pan, say goodbye to Paulie within 2 minutes.
