Beautiful work. How long did it take come up with the idea and fully implement the design?

This is a beautiful piece, but that name steam punk is so stupid! Reminds me of the first time I heard the term Emo in the mid ninties. “Yeah man its short for Emotional music” God give me a break.

You know what’s funny to me? First thing I thought when I realized what I was looking at (a laptop), was “I’d rather have that than that POS Macbook they just took most of the features out of (66% battery life, -1 USB port, no ethernet, no DVD or CD drive, -25% CPU speed, -50% RAM capacity.)
What a beautiful piece of work. Just stunning.

This is proof they had laptops during the Victorian era.

I have a fifties portable typewriter–a tiny thing where only 92% of the keys work–and I always call it my laptop. But this is way cooler.
