Accepting the Multiverse hypothesis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse), there’s a universe where the Simpsons ARE life.

The article makes Washington states decision to drop the math and science portions of the WASL a bad one. In fact, the test had a lot of kinks that needed to be worked out before the state made it a graduation requirement. Students still take it every year, and it still must be passed to graduate, but now they’re alternatives to taking it, like doing a portfolio documenting your entire highschool career, and not just a test taken during one week.

You left off one. On The Simpsons, Homer and Marge get kicked out of an all you can eat restaurant (I believe it was The Frying Dutchman)because Homer was eating too much.
Last week two people were kicked of an all you can restaurant in Washington because they were eating too much. Apparently the staff also made fun of how fat they were -

I seem to remember a 90s movie either called McBain or featuring a character named McBain. It came after the Simpson regularly referred to Reiner Wolfcastles’s Mcbain movies.

Also I’m pretty sure that some time after Season 8, Niles trapped Frasier in a dam he had set to explode. So that’s another one.

Another classic was the episode in which Steven Hawking commented favorably on Homer’s theory of a donut-shaped universe. A few years later, scientists reported evidence of a donut-shaped universe.

Scientists are now using Simpson reruns to predict quantum theories, and considering them a viable and safer alternative to the new super-collider.
