Now that’s tough. He even had his nicotine patch tattooed.

He could have just written “bibliophile”. Any true bibliophile would obviously know what it means o_O

I’m tempted to replace “bad”ass with “dumb”ass, but it’s still interesting.

What the F? Did he think he’ll forget what it means? What’s this with definitions as tatoos? I don’t think just because you love Neil Gaiman graphic novels makes you a book lover.

HI! That’s my tattoo.
to #1 - That’s actually the Blank Badge from the comic book the Invisibles. Oh, and I’m a She, thanks.
I was going to defend myself to you all, but there really is no reason. I got the tattoo because I love books, I love words, and I have a special love for dictionaries. I’m getting my MLIS. All because my choices aren’t yours doesn’t make me a dumb ass.
Take a look in the mirror before you anonymously judge others, eh?

Personally I think it rocks. It’s intelligent and creative, unlike the big boobed, spread eagled harlot’s on half the world’s tattooed arms.
Lovely.

That is one of the most incredibly awesome tattoos I’ve ever seen! I am jealous because I didn’t think of it first!

Ink’s personal.
Love it, hate it, unless you’re wearing it, what difference does it make.

I don’t have to take a look in the mirror before I judge someone’s choice of a stupid tattoo.
The definition isn’t complete - why does it not indicate that BIBLIO has a Greek root, as well as PHILE? Are you going to include a reference to the roots of BIBLIO on another limb? The whole thing seems a little pedantic.
Von Skippy is right, it makes little difference, and girl doesn’t need to defend her questionable tattoo choices. But if she’s going to post the picture, she should be ready for some criticism.

before i read it more closely, i thought it was a photo of a man in a country where the pedophiles are branded in prison

Having a bad tatoo is like having a bad hairdo for life. And it should be “byblos”, not “bylos”.
