Hunt Rettig’s Artwork

Posted by Alex in Arts & Crafts on January 3, 2008 at 3:41 am

Aspen artist Hunt Rettig used paperboard, plastic, wood, metal and silicone to create a three-dimensional sculpture, which he then covered with a translucent film to make it look like a two-dimensional photo!

The result is a series of mixed media assemblage that seems to glow with soft, cool colors: Link - via dear ada

Pretty cool. It might be interesting to see some of these with some sort of liquid in some of the cavities.
