Having been born & raised in the Great Lakes State, I have been using my hands as virtual maps all of my life. When I told my husband about my idea to make mittens with maps of Michigan on the palms he thought it was great and designed them for me. They are available on our website. I have friends that live in Marquette and SSM so the hand map doesn't work so well for them.
