I honestly don’t see the lighter “inspirational” turn of this story as any real consolation for this man. Cold hard justice for those punkass kids (a good tossing in prison perhaps?) would warm my heart more.

Why is everyone warm and fuzzy over a story where some kids maimed an innocent man?

I feel sorry for him, but who should be fixing his house, who should be wiping his ass every day for the rest of his life – is those shitty kids.

Kids do stupid stuff. I myself tipped a porta-john or two when I was a lad. Had I known that it could possibly result in someone being paralyzed, I probably wouldn’t have done it.
