Build your own city at MyMiniCity! Select a country, name your town, and then revisit to see it grow. I created Neatorama City, which is supposed to grow as more people visit. Last time I looked, there was a population of two.

Update: Just a couple hours later, the population has soared to 99, unemployment is at a staggering 49%, but there is still no crime.

    redshift9, you can build your own city. I don’t know what else is available, it seems you have to have some citizens before you can build an infrastructure.

    I can’t get my city started. I select country and create a name. Then a “create” comes up with no buttons. That’s as far as I can get. Am using Firefox, plus I tried it’s IE tab. Any ideas?

    Pavlov would be proud.

    Put up a dorky page that does basically nothing, has no interaction except for clicking on links and watching a pre-determined cartoon city buildout, and people line up to participate.

    Now all they have to due is setup a “click here and get a billboard for a buck” link and watch the money roll in.

    I made a script that will allow you to embed your city’s statistics on any site that supports image embedding, as well as allowing you to view your city without changing the statistics (since if you view the city, it will increase the population). Then, you can choose which link you want to click to increase the stat you want to increase (such as Population, Industry, Environment, etc.) Check it out, I’m sure you’ll find a good use for it:

    I built a wordpress plugin that displays your myMiniCity stats and allows you to set criteria for displaying the various links. For instance, you can only show the population link if the unemployment is less than 10%.

    There are a few other setting that you can tweek, but the rest are pretty obvious. You can download it, read more about it and see it in action at:

    I suspect, but am not be any means enabled to verify, that this website searches out personal information

    I raise an eyebrow plainly due to nature of the relationship between site and user: that it is set around constant visitation and viral invitations of friends, also an enticing suggestion to make actions “through your web browser”

    so could any please assuage these dreadful worries? A ‘no’ would be great thanks.
