drive down rt.1 between richmond and fredericksburg VA - this area has quite a penchant for the huge inflateable lawn ornaments. The only thing sadder is to see them deflated and lifeless.

Just got back from Kauai, and I have to say I’ve never seen so many tacky, over the top Christmas decorations in my life! When people in Kauai decorate for Christmas, it’s like they vomit out every decoration available at Walmart. Instead of getting one of each decoration they get like 10!!! I didn’t not see a single house tastefully decorated that whole time I was there!
