Psychologist Mitchell Spero trained his pet turtle to do dog tricks! Florida can sit, stay, and roll over (turtles in the wild do their best to avoid the rollover). Spero uses his turtle as an example of overcoming obstacles, to encourage the children he works with. Link -via Arbroath

    He is a psychologist, so I KNOW he’s a crazy.

    Small brain? What’s that got to do with anything?

    Psychology and psychiatry have failed mankind for 100 years, and yet no one has dared to question that fact. Go figure…

    what an adorable creature! pretty friendly too…reminds me of my old turtle…who looked kinda like a monster truck :D

    I think this guy is very smart to use a turtle (especially a trained one) to reach kids.

    That is NOT a turtle — it’s a tortoise. The fact that this man doesn’t even know what kind of animal he owns makes me wonder if he is providing the correct care.
