Sadly, she never wins any races, because she runs in the wrong direction.

I wonder if bending over to pick something up is different for her. Or does she have to do it backwards?

I imagine she’d have to squat instead of bending at the waist. Staying balanced would just require leaning slightly backward all the time instead of just slightly forward like everyone else.

Her feet aren’t backwards, they are folded very far forwards. They are basically upside down.

Yea, it looks like she is walking on the tops of her feet.

Looks like her hands fold a bit to the outside as well.
Interesting.

They do seem to be bending far forwards because of the direction the toes face. But due to the ball of the feet (the heel can be from usage), i would have to say that only the base of her foot is flipped.

I noticed the hands too, Donna. The feet aren’t her only issue. Cool that she’s got such a great outlook on life; I know lots of people with no physical issues like that but lousy attitudes.
My son was born with a club foot; I wouldn’t be surprised if this woman’s condition is similar to that. My son’s foot was surgically corrected when he was one and he does really well, but he still has trouble with running and long walks. A great read on conditions like this is “Pain: The Gift That Nobody Wants”, by Dr. Paul Brand. He was a medical pioneer in treating foot deformities, leprosy and diabetes in India, and was a key figure in developing modern diabetes treatments in the US. Highly recommended read.

I followed this up and dug out various bits of folklore about spirits and the like with backwards feet (I think you can click on my name for the link) and also found this video of John Seavers - one of only 5 people with backwards feet in the US and the only one who can walk without help. However, not only can he walk but he is a dancer too:
