Grandma Owns

Revealed to be part of an advertising campaign placed by the Periodical Publishers Association of Ireland. The ad was placed in an attempt to show how magazine advertising is still effective. Brilliant!

    Awesome!

    Good for her.

(Jonny has a soft spot for spunky, irritable old women).

heh heh… this is pretty funny. It makes her point well, but I wonder if ultimately she wouldn’t be happier giving it to some charity that does work that pleases her. Being bitter is not a great way to spend one’s final years… Ultimately, it is HER $ though!

a little googling revealed old bernie to be a fiction created by the irish advertising industry to test magazine advertisements’ ability to hold an audience.

which is, admittedly, kind of a let-down.
