The Incredible Rubberman

By JTPednaud in World Records on Nov 29, 2007 at 11:02 am

Captain Frodo, The Incredible Rubberman, is a travelling showman who grew up in Norway but now lives in Melbourne. Frodo has a form of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which results in faulty collagen and ultimately results in extremely flexible joints with a painful tendency to dislocate and subluxate.

More extreme versions of EDS result in the elastic-like skin sideshow attraction James Morris was known for. In the most extreme cases of EDS severe joint vulnerability and pendulous, hanging skin are present and crippling.

Frodo, has turned his affliction into a career and a wonderful performance. He has performed with his magician father, on his own or with various sideshow troupes since the turn of the century.

featuring some of the most poorly thought through camera work in televisual history!!

At each pouint where he "Pops" through the tenneis racquet the camera cuts to the audience.

    Nice work numpty.

Capatin Frodo? He needs a new name. I like when he throws the glitter though.

I agree about the camera work, and the name. Still, the guy radiates charisma and has a wonderful sense of humor, and his act is absolutely great! I hope he wins/won!
