		<description>This is timely-- I was snorkeling down in Cabo San Lucas last Thursday (the 23rd), and we indeed saw these guys leaping from a distance.  They are pretty spectacular!  They also like to hang out at the surface, basking, with the tips of their fins up in the air so they look like two small sharks swimming side by side.</description>

You are correct that this happens in the Sea of Cortez, but it is not located in the southern Gulf of Mexico.  It is between Baja &#38; mainland Mexico.  The Gulf of Mexico is on the other side between Mexico and Florida.
