FYI deboning for Turducken isn’t such a big deal–the meat counter will generally take care of it for you.

Prep time is longer than for a normal turkey but I’m pretty sure it didn’t take anywhere near nine hours.

I wonder how many of these Neanderthals end up with 1st degree burns when their turkey explodes as it hits the hot oil?

Jacques, every year for a few days after Thanksgiving, I see news stories about people who burned their houses down doing this. Once, it was a firehouse! Too bad those local stories aren’t permalinked.

Once you’ve eaten a fried turkey you’ll never go back!
Take the proper precautions and it’s safe to do. We cook a dozen or more every year at work just before Thanksgiving. Oh and turkeys don’t explode. LOL But as god as my wittness I thought they could fly!
