I can't imagine having the money for one PS3, let alone an extra to take apart for a phaser. Don't get me wrong, its cool and all, but don't you think you'll get a little more functionality out of the laser when its in a game system?

he bought the laser assembly off ebay for 45 bucks and the star trek plastic phaser for 30 so with the extra wiring and battery it all cost less than 100
