Top Ten Evil Computers

150_NomadThis list only deals with fictional computers. I’m not familiar with all of them, but I recall having nightmares as a child after seeing Nomad in the Star Trek episode The Changeling. Of course, more evil computers are suggested in the comments. Link -via Cynical-C

It seems like the author has something against any modern day evil computer that has been created in the last 20 years. It seems all of them were from the 1970s and 80s...

This is an incredible list! I can't believe both GLaDOS and Queeg got a mention. In fact, any Red Dwarf mention is a welcome surprise! :)

Too bad Colossus: The Forbin Project didn't make the list, but it was nice to see BOSS from a cool episode of Doctor Who. I love those funky headphones he put on (and I didn't even have to watch the YouTube clip to remember - I'm that much of a geek!)

If they're gonna include books, what about AM from Harlan Ellison's "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream"? To this day, the story is still hauntingly mesmerizing and continues to give me the creeps.
