I have a friend in China (near Shanghai) that speaks of this– there’s a specific word in Chinese that conveys the concept– they sleep almost ANYWHERE. I think it’s most prevalent at certain times of the year (like the Spring). People have a tendency to feel sleepy. We have 'spring fever' they have 'sleep fever' Oh, Ive heard of this!
