Robot Balances Inverted Pendulum Like a Pro!

Posted by Alex in Video Clips on October 23, 2007 at 1:41 am

Magnus Linderoth and Kristian Soltesz of the Lund Institute of Technology, Scandinavia Sweden, created this robot that is an absolute expert in balancing an inverted pendulum! Maybe the 2.0 version can also spin plates. Now that would be very cool…

Where did you people learn geography? Scandinavia is not a country! Lund is in Sweden. It's like saying London, Europe.

And Mauri should check out that Wikipedia link. Finland and Iceland are not Scandinavian but Nordic countries.

Er, that was embarrassing - yes, it's in Sweden not Scandinavia.

It was only last year that I learned it was Canada and not Canadia ;)
