PARK(Ing) Day

Last month, San Francisco artists and activists took over parking spots around the city and turned them into "PARK(ing)" spaces or temporary public parks!

There was even this strange contraption called the ParkCycle, which its builder Reuben Margolin, John Bela, Blaine Merker and Matt Passmore pedaled near San Francisco’s City Hall!

I’ve been to SF — lovely city but too few parking spaces as it is and apparently too many morons like these taking them up with “temporary parks”. SF has beautiful REAL parks — what is the point of some family of peaceniks setting up an inflatable wading pool and generally looking like trash idiots?

SF would be nicer if 50% of the parking spaces were permanently turned into these mini parks.
