The preacher Josue Yrion said that Simpson are devil… and that Matt Groening whos banned from FOX because he wanted Bart becoming a good guy. They said that he is making christian videos around the world.

Interesting detail about the bear ripping off the elves head and drinking the blood. That sounds just like an Itchy and Scratchy skit, perhaps Groening thought the Bear/Elf was funny but too out there in the beginning, but after a few years he felt that they could risk that outre humor.

Every night just before I go to sleep, I thank God that The Simpons aren’t what Matt Groening originally came up with… they are so much better than those first sketches

The True birth of the Simpsons was actually at Lincoln High school in Portland, OR where Groening would sketch little cartoons on math assignments. True story. Word.

A nice addition to the article would have been the transition between the drawing style of the original characters and the new.

“So the Simpsons are korean?”
Matt said that they are yellow so people would think the TV color was off and would try to adjust it.
Great article is totally neatorama!

God bless Matt Groening and the family Simpson. I love you all equally - not favouring one over any other. The Simpsons show is America’s only saving grace,

This isn’t news, it’s regurgitation. There’s not one syllable of story here that’s not known in some way or another. Why do people flock to the schlock so easily? Writers these days are soft, completely. There’s a reason why there’re so many re-makes these days of old movies and TV ideas. It’s been done people, doigg something freakin’ worthwhile…like Miss TK & The Revenge for example. New music, new ideas, fresh entertainment for once.

Little known fact: I singlehandedly vaulted the Simpsons to their fame. At the time, my family was chosen to be a Nielsen family during the premier of the show. The Nielsen box allowed us to input up to eight viewers, each representing 640,000 viewers. When I would tune into the Simpsons, I would fill all the brackets which represented over 5 million viewers. This increased their popularity and raised brand awareness for the animated show. Doing this at the beginning of the show vaulted them to the success they have today.
Oh… YOU’RE WELCOME!
