It's time for another Neatorama and Ape Lad's Hobotopia Caption Monkey game, but first, the story: that's Sandy Hartness of Yucaipa Valley, California, who turned this poodle into a Ninja Turtle named Leonardoodle at the SuperGroom 2007.

Now, the Caption Monkey game: Funniest caption wins a Free Monkey (or any other critter) Drawing by Ape Lad of Hobotopia. Contest rule is simple: place your caption in the comment, one caption per comment but you can submit as many funny ones as you can think of. You can also vote for your favorite comment, but not your own.
If you don't win, but still want a drawing (definitely worth it, IMHO!), you can get one directly from Ape Lad for a nominal fee.

And why on earth is the lady frowning so much? I mean, sure; it sucks to lose and all, but in the context it just looks so bizarre.
This poodle is never allowed outside, for fear of a gang of pugs beating the Alpo out of it.
LADY: "Even though seeing my pooch like this makes me happy, my vet tells me that my dog is clinically depressed. Go figure."
It would seem that everyone in that photo lacks a sense of style.

He's very effective a a watchdog, since intruders react with either (a) OMG a Ninja Turtle, (b) WTF is that thing? or (c) whoever owns that is NUTS.
The poodle made up to look like a Ninja Turtle came in a close second to the sheepdog made up to look like an ugly old lady.

BTW you can tell that dog knows it is having a bad day 'cause she has to hold its head up. This is not a proud moment for Gigi. Where is the ASPCA?
