I second jack ruttan's comment. Hosing the wall down is such an infantile, destructive, boorish response.
So sad when authority and shortsightedness go hand in hand.

At least it was documented.

Kind of sick that they probably would have left the wall dirty except for the impulse to destroy an illicit, original work of art.

great art. great idea.

it still is well, look at what was done, all that filthy grime was finally cleaned up. its a terrible shame that his art work was not appreciated longer, but at the same time, good still came of his work.
