  hmmmm wonder what made him do it on snow? better than on volcanic ash I guess, as that other guy found out LOL

  Many people seem think that you can’t ride a bike in snow, but hard-packed snow is my second favorite surface to ride my mountain bike on (after dry, rocky trails). It smooths out the impossible parts and creates new lines. Drifting is über-fun, random jumps appear all over the place and falling down usually doesn’t hurt quite as much And Nokian’s “Freddie’s Revenz” studded tyres get traction even on smooth ice.

  Deep fresh powder snow will stop you like superglue, though

  Anybody to comment on the law of physics applied? The handle bars have got to be welded in place and he moves with his body and not his arms..right? or the force aplyied is so strong that he “simply” has to just sit still and let the dynamics do their thing..
  I was just telling a friend this evening how I had driven on the interstate (in a car) at 120mph and it was at the upper state of acceleration in which I felt a barrier of extreameness close at hand. I felt an edge was close to becoming beyond control….so I cant imagine here other than the wind force is narrowed down to a blade cutting something not so resistant.
