are you serious? these are the most pathetic commercials i ever seen, or maybe the most distasteful or most kitschy. If someone really cries because of these, should seek mental help immediately.

It reminds me about “My Life” a movie with Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman where a father records a lot of video tapes for his future child because he has few months to live due to cancer.

Sad, but it turns my stomach to see it in an ad for insurance.

This is more offensive than the suicide bomber in the VW.

Lousy subtitles in those clips - somebody’s being paid too much.

Video was very touching….but I didn’t like that it was an ad for an insurance company…

There’s something wrong with this video. My screen started looking blurry while I was watching it.

This hit close to home.. I don’t know what kind of company is using these advertisements, but I’m kind of upset they would play with peoples sentiments like this to make money.
As a series of short films I might be able to feel better about these.

I have this strange urge to buy insurance.

mmm probably an ad that plays on parents emotions the most. It was really sad, but not one that would make me cry. Probably because I can’t relate very well.

“I’m kind of upset they would play with peoples sentiments like this to make money.”

Yeah, see - that’s called “advertising” and if you felt moved by these clips, then they’re doing their jobs. Well.

    Don’t Thai people eat babies?

How did the woman convince the doctors to deliver her baby early? Surely she would have had to tell them about her husband.

If the commercial was about the real Bangkok, the husband would have died while the wife and the baby were stuck in traffic in a taxi cab with a non-functional air conditioner. Also, they would be surrounded by dozens of little barbecued snacks on sticks, things like squid, meatballs and tiny hot dogs.

Wouldn’t the kid be plagued by health problems its whole life due to the premature birth?

yeah - we all know how insurance companies a really there for us when we most need them. they NEVER try and get out of paying for anything on miniscule technicalities.

    sickening mawkish drivel.
