I don’t know what was more amazing–the fact that this guy kicked butt on piano, or the fact that (lo these MANY years after playing it,) I still remember exactly which levels these pieces were from…

Ah….I still keep a copy of that game on my laptop. I dunno, maybe it’s the nostalgia or for some reason the 2-D images resonate a bit more, but I still haven’t found a game that makes blasting someone with a shotgun quite as satisfying.
