Calvin and Hobbes Post-It Note Mural

The ingenuity of College and University students continues to amaze me again and again. So, what have the kids at Dordt College in Iowa done that is unique? Well, how about a mural completely created from Post-It Notes! After 6 days since it was put up “The Man” (Dordt College Authorities) took it down. Boo!

Yawn, it was slightly amusing and or artistic the first 500 times it was done.

My wife went to school at Dordt, and her dad taught there for a lot of years. No surprise it would come down so quickly; those CRC Dutchmen are such sticklers for neatness.

Leave it to the college kids to make the connection between Calvin & Hobbes and John Calvin; reminds me of the mashup done a while ago. Guess you’ve got to be a philosophy nerd to really get that though. ;o)

not terribly detailed or creative. There’s creative and there’s busy work.

True it may not be terribly creative but then again I do believe they may have been drinking while doing this (check out the cans while they are working). ;)

Countless hours of planning = 5 minute walk to student store + 5 minutes in photoshop?

Good execution though, surprised they took it down
