Recently, the D.I.Y. Qee Project: BART Tour took place at the Showroom NYC, featuring Bart Simpson’s three-dimensional shape reimagined by over 100 international artists, designers, and illustrators.

Each artist was given a blank 10-inch D.I.Y. Bart Simpson Qee Figure to start with. The Village Voice has a gallery of images from the show. There are a LOT of zombie Barts! The show travels to London and Beijing next. Link -via YesButNoButYes

I can kind of understand the zombie thing; that pose kind of lends itself to a shuffling, brain-swilling frame of mind.

I don’t see the appeal of this.

They’ve done a similar project here in Vancouver, Canada. Except rather than 10-inch Barts, we have 6-7 foot tall bears that they cemented into the ground in downtown every street or so. Lol.
