Actually, Firefox is safer _IF_ you install the addons Flashblock, NoScript and Adblock Plus.

Otherwise, Opera has the best safety history of about 60 vulnerabilities since 1995, whereas IE has about 400 in that same time period.

Firefox also has about 400 in the short time it has been around (4 years?) but because of the above addons, is much safer than IE. (Not to mention, actualy W3C standard...)

Alex cannot see the 40% 'caus he has a Firefox sticker on his screen.
The Firefox car driver reported the same problem with incoming traffic.

Ok, interesting stats. Where would you find out that kinda thing for the total internet? Like, what percentage firefox/opera actually get compared to IE?

Could it be older or newer versions of an internet browser?

How did you figure out what browser people are using?

It's a shame that more folks don't use Opera. It's quicker and has less "bloat" than Firefox. I use FF on my school's website, but Opera otherwise.

That's a VERY large % of "Unknown." Any idea why?
