For our weekly collab with VideoSift, let’s take a look at the Sci-Fi Fandom Channel, a repository of cool documentaries, trailers, and scenes from famous (and not so famous) sci-fi movies:

Death Star Cafeteria in Lego
There must be a cafeteria in Death Star, right? They’ve got to eat sometime… So here’s a comedy bit by Eddie Izzard, where Darth Vader runs into a bit of a problem in the Death Star canteen.

The Many Faces of Shatner
One can never have enough of William Shatner. Here’s an homage to the legend that is the incomparable Shatner.

Monsters of the Atomic Age
In this documentary (26 min. long) Geoff Tarulli explores the nuclear fears in the 1950s and how they influenced the sci-fi movies of the time.

H.R. Giger at Work
Take a look at H.R. Giger’s bizarre house and studio, which are filled with sketches and artwork. This was the first time I actually see the man behind the movie Alien and Species.

Conan Visits Industrial Light and Magic
What happens when Late Night host and comedian Conan O’Brien visit George Lucas’ Industrial Light and Magic? Hilarity is what.

One of my favorite clip. Definitely: Link

The "H.R. Giger at Work" link is wrong; it points to the "Monsters of the Atomic Age" cliop.
