The Elephant Building in Bangkok, Thailand

Posted by Alex in Architecture, Pictures, Travel & Places on September 15, 2007 at 2:26 pm

We posted about the proposed elephant building for the Champs-Élysées in Paris, France, in 1758. Well, several hundred years later, an elephant building (called the Lat Prao Tuk Chang) went up in Bangkok, Thailand!

No. It called “Tuk Chang” (tuk:building, chang:elephant)

“Lat Prao” is a name of the street near the building.

Actually its in the middle of Phahonyothin 26 and 28. Lat Prao is the name of the area but its actually Jatujak area. I live under the ass of the building. If it pooped, my house would be covered in Elephant dung.
