That's exactly what I thought of Fargo.
If I had watched this first, I could have saved myself $6 and an hour and a half of my life, and still come away with the same impression.

i remember back in the day when we first got it on vhs, we sat and counted everytime someone said "yah" or "oh yah don't you know" or something along those lines... heh, we ended up with something in the hundreds of how many times they said yah..
