No zoning laws there? neighbours must be happy.

    [of course, it's Ned!]

Gee, way to steal content TechEBlog. Here is the original article that all the photos came from: http://www.lasvegassun.com/dossier/misc/simpsons/

Henderson, NV is part of Las Vegas. This is what the house looks like now: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hackaday/700317622/

Sadly, the winner Barbara Howard preferred the money in the end instead of the house and so the house was sold later to an KB Employee, who hasn’t had any sympathy for the Simpsons and destroyed as much as possible anything which ressembled to the Simpsons home like the bright colours, fence, Bart’s tree house etcetc. and so today the only reminiscence to the real Simpson’s house are the upper row of the bricks of the chimney and the Homer head with Groenings signature on the sidewalk.

There was an interesting article in the German news magazine “Der Spiegel” in July: http://www.spiegel.de/reise/fernweh/0,1518,496436,00.html

    (Sry only in german)

PS: It must have been a great little copy and there was the oil stain in the garage like as in the “original” house.

I visited Henderson in 1997 looking for it, but no one knew where it was…
