ARA has never been an European Organization or an organization in of itself. It is a network of people with common goals of ensuring that the rights of minorities and the disenfranchised are not trampled upon.

Loose associations by political views is not a conclusive link. For example, a white guy wearing a christian cross necklace mugs me. I can't assume all white christians will be muggers. This is the very foundation of racist beliefs and rationale. They want to think the sky is falling because they see someone with a darker skin... nevermind that the people with darker skin often speak the language better than these boneheads do.

*Sigh*. I'm going to go ahead and assume you've never read Guns, Germs, and Steel. The reason modern society is based mainly on European language and culture is not because the Europeans had superior land, essentially. The area of the world European culture came from (i.e., the fertile crescent ( which is largely Arabian, by the way)) was ideal for the emergence of civilization, so Europe was the first to get to the industrial revolution. Once they were there, of course, the world was theirs ( in their eyes). For significant parts of history the Arabian and Chinese cultures were more advanced than European ones ( including Northern Africa! ). Spain, a highly successful European country, had heavy Moorish (Arabian/African) influences. It is pure luck that had the Europeans on top. In another world, we might all be speaking Chinese, and the only reason we don't speak Aztec or Aborigine is because they had land with no domesticable plants or animals ( compared to Eurasia). And the reason that other races are still poorer and less advanced than you is because you started your life rich and in power ( comparatively ), and they started poor and discriminated. In other words, you made them poorer, less advanced, and less educated. Those who aren't are strong enough to break out of oppression or the children of those who are, and therefore far more driven than you will ever be. You, my trolling racist friend, have just been owned by logic and science. But that's okay, because you left as soon as you posted and aren't listening to the many refutations of your "theories". Have fun being ignorant!

An a**hole is as an a**hole does. White, black, man or woman - good people are good people regardless of what's on the outside. The color of your skin, your religion, gender or country of origin... it doesn't matter. Treat me with respect and I'll treat you with respect. I could care less what the color of your skin is.

And, after reading the comments -- yeah, and there's still some pretty serious evil in the world too, and maybe making fun of it is the best way to fight it.
