The Giant’s Causeway

The Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland is a natural phenomenon that looks manmade! Around 40,000 columns of basalt left by volcanos have peculiarly geometric shapes. Legend attributes the formations to the Irish giant Finn McCool, who traveled over it to fight his Scottish enemies. Link -via Dark Roasted Blend

ive been there!! it is a beautiful spot, i kept wanting to go swimming lol there is a trail that runs across part of the cliff to the left (looking away from the ocean) but there was a landslide there, so we couldnt walk all of it =/
