I still work with offset every day, and it's not even close to being that cool. 99.9% of what we produce is bound for a garbage can, that kind of work is truly Art though.

I took a semester of letterpress at the University of Utah, and it was hands down my favorite class I have ever taken. It's so intimate and detail oriented. When you see that block of text held together with string, you have no idea how heartbreaking it can be when that string unravels and you lose your entire block and you have to start over. Or you do your first proof and all your apostrophes are facing the wrong direction. But once something is done and it's in your hand, it is the most satisfying artwork I have ever created, and that's even including basic printing...
