Something Awful forum member Bruiser built a 535-foot version of the Slip ‘n Slide water toy! When you start a project like this with a bulldozer, you know it’s going to be big. Link -via Reddit

When I was little my dad and uncle were too cheap to buy us all a slip ‘n slip. So they made one on the hill at my grandmas house with a big tarp. Cleverly, it ended at the cement retaining wall. nice.

My dad also used to build us a slip ‘n slide out of tarps, with a sprinkler at the top. We lived at the top of a big grassy hill. Luckily there was no cement wall at the bottom, but we often picked up so much speed on the slip ‘n slide that we would slide right off the tarps and continue across the grass for a ways. It was great fun! Thanks Dad!

Yeah, kerozene, I was just thinking the same thing. I hope they got it nice and smooth underneath. Otherwise… ouch!
