    I would add A Confederacy of Dunces adapted by John Waters. Always thought that Victor Buono, in his prime, would have been a great Ignatius.

    add Chris Cunningham's Neuromancer (William Gibson Book)

    They've been working on a screenplay for 9 years now i think. Bill Gibson has stated that after Johnny Mnemonic he would never do another movie so they are being too cautious to ever do anything.

    dont forget to mention the original DUNE which had a soundtrack by pink floyd and salvadore dali as the emporer of the universe ruling from a throne shaped like a dolphin that he could deficate in...
