Crime Spree: Breaking Stupid Laws Across USA

Posted by Alex in Crime & Law, Travel & Places on August 1, 2007 at 3:12 am

Englishmen Rich Smith and Bateman came to the United States to commit a crime spree – that is, by breaking as many stupid, unreasonable and long-forgotten laws (that are still on the book!).

For example, did you know that handwalking across the street is illegal in Hartford, Connecticut? Or that peeling an orange in a hotel room is Los Angeles is a no-no?

The pair documents their cross country journey in their book You Can Get Arrested for That.

You'd think so, Eimantas, but it's actually without a question mark.

    No. You wouldn't.

Its a statement, not a rhetorical question.

They should be thrown in jail and forced hard labor for knowingly committing all those crimes and for being British.
