Don’t buy anything from Haier. Their products are crap and their customer service is even crappier.

Neither hydroxide nor hydronium can be expected to remove grease, oil, or fat from clothes. Either a surfactant (i.e. soap) or a solvent (i.e. perchloroethylene, as in dry cleaning) is necessary. Any acid or base which was strong enough to do the job chemically would also destroy the cloth itself. An idea long on eco-hype and short on chemistry.

This reminds me of those hokey laundry balls that were supposed to replace detergent (but turned out to be no more effective than plain water.)

I didn’t read this right. I thought it said “Hair WasH2O”… I was wondering if you stuck your head in the front.

    Then I read it again.

It works so well that you need TWO detergent drawers!
