    Wow, you can do it a WHOLE lot cheaper than $1500. I’ve got about $350 into my setup built from (new) parts purchased off Ebay. Maybe his price includes buying a dedicated computer, though… MAME rules, especially for aging teenagers of the 1980s like myself.

    I agree with Sid. Looks like Todd just bought pre-built items and just put them together. My MAME machine probably only cost $600 to build that has everything but the trackball compared to his set-up.

    i have 3 mame arcade setups, all you will ever need can be found at arcadecontrols.com

    I just use an old xbox and tv inside a home made cabinet. Probably cost me $200 in supplies (including the $30 xbox off eBay) from home depot. I still need to get the “arcade” joysticks for it.
