  A friend of mine recounts how when he was little his dad gave him a big spoonful of mayonnaise and told him it was ice cream. They (especially the now-old father) still get a big laugh out of his horrified reaction to the taste. Naive little kids are fun to screw with and it teaches them not to be so trusting.

  Weird, all of my family as babies, and the babies in the family now love lemons and never really made a bad face.

  Cute video! Since everyone is divulging dirty lemon secrets I thought I’d do it as well. My Mum will eat lemons left right and center if she had the time to, however, her kids (including moi) can’t even fathom the idea of eating a lemon slice.

  EXACTLY. We used to have a blast with my nephew when he was a baby, because he would have what we’d call “a Kramer reaction” (no, not screaming racial epithets), nearly convulsing from the taste. And then he’d go right back for more! It’s a good thing we never gave him wasabi; his head would have exploded.
