Look how far the video screen is!
What’s the point of putting a large screen when it’s that far away? They might as well have just put in a smaller LCD closer to the passenger’s arm-rest like everyone else and saved the energy.
So typically American. So dumb. So stupid.
OK, so now you’ve got a perfectly good bed to sleep in – that means that most people won’t even be watching the LCD, they’ll be sleeping! Sheesh! Don’t you Yanks ever think about conservation of energy and resources? Stop wasting!

Not only that, why would the person next to you want to be blinded by the screen adjacent?
OK so looking at the photo carefully, the seat is closer to the screen when in a normal sitting position. But, like I said, it’s annoying to have to be distracted by the adjacent screen being so close.
