Jesus Lizard Quad Bike

By Alex in Auto & Transportation, Pictures on Jul 16, 2007 at 12:38 am

Neatorama reader Greg Degouveia wrote to us about his "Jesus Lizard" quad bike that he built for a kinetic sculpture race in Arcata. It has a head that moves from side to side and mouth that opens and closes.

The bike is named after the Basilisk or Jesus Lizard, a South American lizard that can run on water, however, unlike its namesake, it did not run on water and sank at the water entry.

LinkThanks Greg!
