Too expensive for that many cuffs for an officer and some departments. These need to be used sparingly and you have to thoroughly search and supervise. Can't always have the best of everything. It looks like he could slip his hands out of them already, without the need of using a pin. Plus, I've seen cops use regular heavy duty zip-ties more than I've seen these. Now, regardless if you have a pin at your disposal removal of the cuffs will be a real hassle, especially if you have to do it quickly in a magic act.
